Well. So, i got in. However, i was hoping so much to see more familiar faces. I was, actually, expecting nj to be populated w ctss students. It wouldn't be the case now, since probably all the 5 pointers were rejected. Sigh, i'm gona be a lonerz. But... then again, new friends? Argh. We shall see soon, i guess.

Feels like i'm schooling

Yea. I did feel that way when i was working today, because...

2 of my colleagues and i got caught by the big boss for our hair. Gosh, i have never been caught for my hair in CTSS before; how could i get caught by icb's boss!!! What a disgrace!!

So what was wrong with our hair? Well, we let our fringes fall coz we'd look damn retarded with our fringes tucked behind our bandanas and it was, apparently, unacceptable. So we had to tuck them behind the bandana eventually and we all looked very funny hahahhaahahha.

Then after awhile, Rachelle came and told me
"ni ke yi fang xia ni the tou fa liao. ta zuo liao."

Haahahhaa. So rebellious. So fun. :D

Enjoyed the whole chalet thoroughly be it when we're having indoor/ outdoor games/ arcade coz i guess it's the company that really matters. :)

I dunno if we'll ever see each other again, but i know these beautiful memories will always linger, some way or another.

I suddenly don't like to work anymore. I got my pay i got money already i want to go out with the clique!! Work is not that fun anymore, especially when the boss keeps cutting down the number of staff working per day. This means that there will be very little service staffs a day which makes work very hectic and stress and not fun. :(

Alright. The release of the O level results today. Seriously, i didn't know how to feel.

In the morning, i purposely forced myself to sleep again everytime i woke up so that time could past faster. Yup. So i woke up at.... 12.45pm. Heh. Slacked abit, then it was time to walk to school.

I remember that i was strolling across the hall to the place where 4D1'08 sat, when some sec 4 shouted, "kin lah." Irritated, i mumbled, "shut up lah." Lol. Must be the tension in me.

After enduring talks and lectures one after another, it was time.

Queued for the results, and there and then, our futures were set. Just by a slip of paper. The surroundings, the company, the tears, the laughter were like dejavu. It was like... didn't i witness all these last year...? The difference was, this time, I was the one getting the results slip.

Haha Graceyeo, Janice and QianHua witnessed me tearing open the letter which stated my results with trembling hands. Yup. You girls saw my results; you all know what you have to do this year. (: Work hard okay! Jiayou!

So aft that, we slacked ard a little, then headed to Holland to have lunch.. :)
The End; the excitement, the tension is over. Gotta get on with our lives now... :(

HI WORLD i am half dead.

Okayyyyy. So today was 'camp' at Icb. 10 hrs k.

It was really slack in the afternoon, which was good! Heheh. I learnt to take orders too! Quite scary ok, when you can't find what the customers want on the order sheet. Through it all, i realised something- My handwriting sucks.

I think that i'm quite blind too. I kept counting the colour plates wrongly. So scary. Kept having to take back the bill sheet from the customers. =.=

Ard 4pm, the boss forced flower and I to take over grace for the sushi wastage thingy. Yah. So we had quite a hard time lah. Coz we didn't know the names of the sushis. Like Marugo, Ikura, Chuka Wakame, Isosazae; We were like HUHHHHHHHH?? But aft that we got our breaks which is :).

Hohohoho. We ate the sushis! I got to try new and expensive stuff like abalone, seasoned scallop, lobster salad. HAHAHAH. Plus miso souppppp! :D SoMeOnE tEeTh PaIn CaNnOt EaT wOrHx. :D

ALRIGHT. Seems like working is a breeze right? NOOOOOO. YOU ARE SO WRONG.

DINNER PERIOD WAS SO HORRENDOUS K. I think that i should have a pay rise. Why?

1. I manned the ocha room, was the runner, took care of stations A and B. Mostly station A.
2. I got scalded by hot tea 3 times, being so flustered on wanting to serve the customers asap.
3. I got burnt by the bloody chawa.
4. I said 'sorry' 2142144 times. Mostly when it's not my fault.
5. I almost slipped and fell xxx times.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ONLY HAVE 7 PPL WORKING DURING THE DINNER PERIOD. ZZZ. Rush here rush there, rush this rush that. Never ending queue outside summore.

BUT! I think that flower should be promoted! Coz he is like even better than me lah. Carry so many heavy things still haven't dou! And he took out so many chawa!! Manz. I cannot laugh at him anymore. :(

Oh oh oh. And one customer ordered wrongly. So we could eat the one he/she ordered wrongly. It's v nice!!! :) :)

On a random note, i hate it when customers order from the sushi menu. Must write so many things. Not enough space for me to write summore. Tsk. So irritating.

Okay. It was terrible at night too. Because there was so little ppl, we had to take on extra duties. :( Sucks. Someone is a pig hor flower hor. Ended work damn late. Like 1040. Usually, by 1010, i'd have finished my duties. Tsk.

hey!

my 5th and 6th Jan'09 were spent at Sentosa with the clique! Unfortunately, the clique wasn't whole as yingting wasn't able to make it.. :(

Overall, it was fun, hyper and simply crazy! :D

5th Jan:

Metup with ck, lau and grace at clementi MRT @ 12pm. Annabel and wendy had to rehearse the play so they'd meet us up later. We headed to vivo city and had lunch at toast box. IT WAS HORRIBLE I TELL YOU. No, not the food. It was the part where we had to snatch for places to sit! We missed quite a number as the working adults were faster than us.... oh manz... but we still got a place in the end. So it was nasi lemak+ milo+ tea for us all.

Aft we finished, it was still pretty early, so we went to the outdoor place to take pictures! BUTTTTTTT. At that precise moment, it had to rain. =.= tsk, so sao xing. Luckily it didn't last long lo...

Took the monorail to Sentosa afterwards! Stopped at Beach Station and we were captivated by the enticing sky rides. So we decided among ourselves that if it was below $15 for the ride, we'd take it. :) Went to check it out and YAY, $10 for a one way skyride upwards, then LUGE ride downwards. :) Woooooohoooooooooo.

Hurriedly checked the chalet to place our bags then headed back to the sky ride station!

Bought the tickets, and we were off. Our very first adventure. It was really cool. What beats the warm breeze+ magnificent view of the island+ the great company? That is, for only half of our ride up. The next half of the ride was blurry+ cold + wet. Yes, it rained, when we were in mid-air. Wow.

Upon reaching the skyride station at the other end, we dashed for shelter. Waited for the rain to be less heavy then we went to take our LUGE ride down. lolololol. It was okay lah. Quite fun, minus the bumpy road surfaces and the drizzle which evolved into heavy rain again. It was freezing when we finished our individual rides. Brr.

Because our tickets stated that we could have $2 off our next ride, we decided to go on board the sky ride again!! Hahahahah. This time, it was pouring the whole way. A whole new experience i guess.

Okay. So we decided to walk to the Merlion. Saw a peacock which refused to spread it's colourful tail(?) to show us. We even did a dance for it to enourage it to open it's tail ok. It still refused to. Gah. Irritating.

We arrived at the Merlion (miss tneeeeee! it's ultra super big!) but it was too cold to go into it. (It's air-conditoned and we were dripping wet at that moment.) So we had adventure #2 - to go inside the water thingy without being caught. The water was really warm! But it was scary ok. We kept looking behind out backs to make sure that no one was looking. hahhaha.

Followed the path ahead and we were back at the Beach station. :) Went back to the chalet to wash up, and await the arrival of our guest-of-honours, anna and wendy. Took many many pics while waiting. Pictures were hilarious. Spent half the time laughing at ourselves. lol...

6+pm and the VIPs arrived! Yayyyyy! Went back to vivo for dinner. Dined at burger king. heh. THENNNNNNNNNN. We went to the arcade! Spent quite a lot of money on the drums! Very cool okokok! One person in charge of one drum, and we stilled failed the stage ok! BUT WE DIDN'T GIVE UP; Played until we could pass all three stages with super flying colours. :D hahahahha. We are the retarded pros. :D

Wanted to take the monorail back to Sentosa, but we realised that our tickets weren't valid anymore lah like wth. Didn't want to pay another $3 just because in our excitement, we failed to see the TNC of the ticket in super small font and white in colour at the back of the ticket. So we decided to try our luck and take the bus. YEA SO MUCH FOR THAT. We missed the last bus by 9 MINUTES. ZZZ.

Almost wanted to walk back, but chucked the idea aft talking to a sentosa bus driver. (we wanted to persuade him to bring us back to sentosa, but to no avail.) So the 6 of us took a taxi. Hero ck took the lead and talked the taxi driver into allowing the 6 of us to take the same taxi. :)

Guess what. Upon reaching the entrance to Sentosa, we were told that we were to pay another $2 per person. Zzz....... sentosa... why like that....

Oh well. We were back at our chalet eventually.

The night was filled with TABOO, and we yelled our lungs out. We were really hyped up then. After two hours of yelling, we got..... hungry! Hahahaha. So we asked those ppl who were BBQ-ing to sell us chicken wings. As expected, they gave the chicken wings to us. foc. heh. :D The chicken wings were supaaa good. I think it was partly because we were hungryyyy.

oh right. It's 6 Jan already:

Continued taboo-ing. But it was in the slow-motion version, as we were tired alr. Ceased the game aft ard 1 hr more. Then it was 'performance time'. Or rather, yelling songs time. Our very own version of Don't forget the lyrics.

Blah blah talk somemore then dou liaoz. Slept like some pig. Woke up at 5.10am to see the sunrise. Ck, lau and anna refused to leave their beds. So grace, wendy and i went on adventure #3- catch the sunrise lolol. Failed lah. Went back to sleep.

Woke up at 9am, washed up and checked out. Bus back to vivo. Byebye. :D

WE SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER CHALET SOON!!!! HEE HEE. :D

today was.... horrifyingly hectic.
my 2009 indeed started with a bang.

th shop was swarming with customers the whole day.
the queue outside was like never-ending.
i started work for barely an hour and my muscles were alr aching.
aiyoz. i wasn't even that busy and tired during christmas!

thank goodness for the warm smiles and encouraging nods from colleagues.
that motivated me to hang in there quite a bit. :)

haha. some of th colleagues are actually v nice.
making new friends isn't so bad aft all.... :D

ok i'm gna hit the sack.

2009's Countdown; Happy New Year!

Our mini adventure ended 20 mins ago.

haha, it began at 9.40pm at Cityhall!
grace, shinfen, wendy and i met up in hope to see some spectacular fireworks!

because it was still early, we decided to have ice-cream to pass time.
anderson was full, and so was swensons.
eh, so we decided to have our ice-cream at some place...
erm can't remember the shop name lol.

ok moving on...
soooooooo after looking at the menu for 20mins,
we finally made up our minds on our choices of desserts.

grace and wendy had cookies and cream ice-cream cake w chocolate ice-cream.
shinfen and i had waffles with ice cream! :)
yummy! :)

11pm and we left the shop, headed in the direction of Fullerton(?) hotel.
it was terrible.
the crowd, meant.
hardly enough space to breathe.
not to mention, we were dying in that heat...

after 50 minutes of trudging at snail's pace,
we finally found a nice, breezy, not-so-crowded place to watch the fireworks.
the wait was pretty exciting.
it feels weird to have a whole year ending in just 10minutes yea.

thennnnn. FIREWORKS!

they were beautiful, simply beautiful.
so captivating, you wouldn't even want to blink. hahaha. :D

and we had a birdworm-eye's view of the fireworks!
heeheee. how great was that manz. :) :) :)

well.. it ended soon.....
so it was the horrible human jam again.
walk for a horribly long time again.

luckily lau's parents came to the rescue and fetched us home! :)
