Chistmas was pretty okay this year i guess.

my heart was getting heavier lately.
luckily it all ended yesterday.

i must say, the past week had been a tiring and tearful one.
it was nothing but home, work and tiongbahru.

saturday was the most tiring one.
work was from 10-4pm,
then home for awhile,
then we rushed to tiong.

because it was probably the last time jieying and i were going to see each other(this year),
i decided to stay over at tiong with her.
it would be the last night i could be with my grandfather also.

so it was mahjong the whole night.
i got bored when dawn was nearing so i stopped and read my storybook.
washed up and played poker cards till ard 9am.
the other family members and guests arrived so we ceased playing for the prayer was about to begin.
had to stand for a really long time.
almost dou-ed.(didn't sleep the last night, remember?)

the tong tong chiang was the most horrible one.
not that i'm in place to critize anything, but i almost went deaf k.
it was literally like ten thousand dinosaurs trampling on buildings.
it made the usually loud lion dance troupe sound like the noise lvl in a library k.
aiyah you get my point. it was really loud lah.
i could even hear the buzzing vibrations in my head.
i thought, for a moment, that i would go deaf.
furthermore, it lasted for no less then 30 minutes.

then....... it was time.

coach to the dunno wad place.
very cold place.
super contary to the furnace.
bai bai summore. then...
it really was the time.

went to the viewing room.
it was only when the coffin was slowly moving towards the furnace
did i let my tears flow freely.
i wanted to cry many a times before this, but i held all those tears back.
because i promised myself that after that last farewell, there would be no more tears.
so i would cry once once and only once.

then the door to the furnace closed, and no more ah gong.
everything was over.

coach to some temple.
prayed summore.
it lasted for a really really really long time.
jy and i want to dou alr....
she kept encouraging us like "3 more hours then can sleep liao."
so we both held on.

coach back to tiong to have lunch,
then drove(by car) to some place again to collect the ashes.
longer procedure.
go to another place put ashes in a tiny square tomb(?)
pray summore.
then...... home.

slept like some pig for about 18 hours.

i think that jieying was my motivation throughout the funeral process.
w/o her i think i dou alr.
for example, i managed to perservere on throught that many prayer sessions, and the tong tong chiang etc etc.
v lucky got her siaz.
we also had a mini discussion on the o lvl papers.
hahahah.
we had a lot to catch up on, i guess.

oh. and i think i closed this blog for awhile coz i didn't want you all to know about this yea.
maybe i thought that i didn't need to be consoled or blah blah.

so yea.
now that everything's over, lets not talk about it.

was jolted awake by the irritating buzzing of my phone thanks to lck's sms.
all i remembered was reading her msg, closing my eyes to rest some more,
then replying her msg.

when i woke up 1 and 1/2 hrs later,
i checked my 'sent mails' only to realise that i had not replied her.

soooooooo.
i must have been dreaming about me replying her.

zzz.
this happens so many times and i'm really starting to get irritated.
during the feverish times when mugging for the Os,
i always 'wake up' at 6.30am, then close my eyes again and dream about
myself getting out of the bed, washing up, dressing up and eating.
and when i'm all ready to leave the house, i will jolt awake,
and realise that at 7am, i have nt done any of the above and i'm going to be late for school.

met up w ck at 2.30 and went to JP.
hahah ck was seemingly amazed by JP's extention.
hahaha. walked ard and chanced upon a cool bookstore!
it's really great! they're selling (or is it renting?) books at cheap prices! (not super cheap, but definitely cheaper then norm.)
they seem to be 2nd hand books thou, but in good condition. (:

ck and i agreed that when we receive our pay, we'd go there and splurge. :D

there are also many many many new food outlets!

but of course, you need money. lotsa money.

i think the arcade had also been renovated.
nice nice. got DDR and parapara machine. haha.
decided that if we ever wanna play the DDR, we'd have to go to the arcade at ungodly hours so as to avoid embarrassment..

well...
today, some horrid events took place!

first,
i wasted a trip to JE.
i was supposed to pass my manager some documents,
but i reached the shop,
only to find out that it was her day off.
and as if that was bad enough,
i totally embarassed myself at the shop!

coz it was like i didn't wanted to waste my trip there,
so i asked her if i could pass the docs to other ppl, or give it to her tmr instead.
she replied, "Tom".

the first thing that flashed thru my mind was that she wanted my to pass my docs to a guy named Tom.
so i happily waddled towards the shop and asked for this 'Tom' guy.
wellll. guess what.
there was no such person.

i then called my manager to verify,
and found out that she meant, "Tomorrow."

zzzzzz so embarassing!
i almost died of shame!!!
ahhhhhhhh. ):

ohh well.
then it was outing with beatrice, chub and friends.
they guys were super late!!
haha poor beatrice waited for ard 45 min.
i didn't have to wait for so long coz i didn't arrive as early as she did.
heh heh.

train to vivo, lunch, minitoons, movie then walking ard to find chub's present.
had 'couple trouble' along the way!
awkward silence for awhile in the midst of discussing this...
then chub took the lead to solve the problem,
and all was well again.

CHALET-booking.

dragged myself out of bed at 11.05am as i was late in meeting cheongkhi and brandon at Clementi MRT.

hastily washed up and woke my brother up.
bathed, changed, gobbled breakfast
and we headed for Clementi MRT.

after meeting ck and brandon,
we took a train to bedok,
wanting to head off to East Coast Park to book 4D1's chalet.

zhenning joined us at commonwealth MRT and the journey went on.

my brother was anti social, as usual.
he just kept his eyes on his newspaper while the rest of us chatted.

Bedok and we took bus 196 to ECP.
then it was a looooong walk to the chalet place.

arrived only to realise that we couldn't see the rooms
coz of some reasons.

fretted bout it for awhile,
then ck plucked up her courage and asked a nice-looking lady if we could take a look at their room to see how big it was.
yay, she allowed us to, but to our disappointment,
the two-story chalet was really small and squeezy.

the organisers did some discussion bout the price and whatsoever
while my brother and i talked some nonsense to past time~.

they then decided to book the chalet at downtown east coz it was way cheaper with a membership.

but first, lunch!
hahahah. we ate at some hawker centre at Bedok.
the aunty cheat my moneyyyyy.
$3 carrot cake still give me so little.
wahlao miser.

MRT to pasir ris and walked to DTE.
met w more problems there;
realised that nicholas's membership card wouldn't be valid if he wasn't there w us.

ohhhhhhh wellll.
so my bro signed up for the membership.
booked the rooms successfully and...
YAY, EVERYTHING WAS SETTLED!~~

walked ard DTE and i wanted to go to the arcade so.... we went. (lol duh.)

ck and i got excited upon seeing neoprint machines!
the boys' reactions were of the polar opposite:

Sometimes, things get really confusing when you consider things from other's point of view; climb into their skins and walk around in it too much coz there'd be a whole range of views to consider from and you can't really differentiate who is right and who is wrong.
